Yes, it is a real shame not to be able to export a plan. I do hope that this will be possible soon
I notice this was posted some time ago. Is it yet possible for free users to export pictures?
i cant export too… i am thinking about change to Google SketchUp… cause floorplanner tool is too limited
Yes, I just had the same problem and it’s a shame. Greatly limits the usefulness of the free tool. Can it be done with the pay tool? I think we need a reply from the administrators to this thread?
well I’m about to buy and am wondering the same thing… can you export with the paid version? Other wise it’s not worth it to me!
I would like to know this as well.
Exporting to an image would be very useful for me to “share” the plan with “the world”.
Can an admin reply to this?
Well I paid for the member account and yes export does work. It’s limited to a max of 1024x? And it is fast and works well. I’m happy!
Be smart!
Push Printscreen button, then push Control+V in Microsoft Paint, then you can cut an arbitrary part of the picture in Microsoft Paint and you can save that in *.bmp or *.jpg! You are ready and not being able to save with the free version of floorplanner is not a problem anymore. Bye.
I would have to agree with the criticism of your product’s marketing. Great app, especially for Mac users, but the marketing is very deceptive to say the least. The exporting feature for plus accounts is laughable. I can take a higher res screen shot than what you offer your plus account paying customers, and the Pro account cost is way too prohibitive for most of us casual users. You should be offering your plus customers, who would be happy to pay, better service with more (higher-res/web embedding) exporting features and perhaps less of the user numbers/projects and virtual tours. I really like your product, but your marketing is way out of line on this. I think you would be MUCH more successful with your business if you catered to those not just in the real estate business.
