duplicating floors.

how to i get my outside wall to the secound floor so i know how big my house is and were the stairs are.

you first create a 2nd floor in the settings menu (3rd icon from the left in the top bar) then, from the list of designs of the first floor, select the design you want to use as a base and click the white duplicate button behind the design name. then select the floor you want to duplicate it to.

Hi, I have the free version, you say:
settings menu, where is that?
and
3rd icon from the left in the top bar
Which top bar?

Hi, I have the free version too. The settings menu is in the top left hand corner just under the ‘Floor Planner’ logo – and just to the left of where it says “Ground Floor”. It looks like a wrench icon (it doesn’t say “settings” until you mouse over it) and is to the right of two other icons (a sheet of paper and a disk).
